As noted in the past I have had various internet and computer related problems over the past few years. Its very frustrating to be paying some decent dollars ever money to some ISP and than find out they are not delivering what they promised.

One thing that everyone should do at least once a month is an internet speed test so you can confirm that you are receiving exacly what you were promised from your ISP when you sign up for your internet access. Often you speed might not be delivered at the promoted speed and you should look into the reasons why. make sure you know exactly what speed you should be receiving before you call your ISP and complain. Also you should perform your test of internet speed at different times of the and try to average out the access speeds.
